Finally Some Color

Pussyillows Frost March 12 2016I

It’s definitely not spring quite yet.  The heavy frost yesterday morning reminded me of that.

Crocus 1 March 12 2016But there is finally some color.

Crocus 2 March 12 2016

Crocus Bee March 12 2016And honeybees!

Seed Head March 13 2016And even the leftovers from last year, look so pretty in the almost spring light.

  10. Your macro work is so beautiful here. I love the pussywillows. They were one of my Mom’s favorites in the spring. The crocus are bright and let us know, even if it’s a tad chilly still, that spring is really on it’s way and the bee is so sharp…Just a great job..

  24. The pussy willow takes the show here, like a ballerina, but the colors of crocus and their sweet petite size always make me want to get right down on the ground at eye level to enjoy their view. Mine bloomed a few days ago…I’m still taking their pictures. Have a lovely week my friend!

  34. Yea for color, Goodness that pussy willow branch the detail is awesome. I had one little snowdrop that I found in one of my containers this morning and I just about jumped for joy. I went to a Tulip Festival last April in Portland OR and I bought them. I didn’t think they were going to come up here in AZ but so happy to see one at least. Of course I had to get my camera out. 🙂 It’s the little things in life that are mighty fine indeed.
